Blusher Share Hot New Single 'Dead End'

Frankie Simmons

3 piece Melbourne based band Blusher release newest hot single along with a music video.

Blusher describes their existence as ‘angry sparkly pop chaos’. This description is more than fitting when listening to this carefree, upbeat song. Starting off with a driving, gritty bass line made for a 3am dance floor, 'Dead End' pulls you in close with intimate vocals, before exploding into neon ‘head out the car window’ synths. The band tells the story of how the song was born out of a place of nostalgia. Reminiscing about the first adventures of young women daring to escape from suburban life.

Not only is the song a thrill for the ears, but the music video grips you by the shirt and tells a creative and beautiful story of womanhood and youth. Audiences can feel this bond between the women in Blusher. It’s a simple song and interpretation of the ups and downs of exploring your youth, and the importance of friendship through this journey.

Blusher is now touring supporting Aurora, tour dates below:

Friday 3 March | The Power Station, Auckland

Sunday 5 March | Fortitude Music Hall, Brisbane

Monday 6 March | Liberty Hall, Sydney

Thursday 9 March | Palais Theatre, Melbourne
