Mansfields Finest say Farewell, For Now

Brett Wood

Brisbane's favourite stoner rock lords, Violent Soho, have announced an undefined hiatus on Facebook this morning. In the statement the band sighted competing priorities as the main reason for the extended break.

"...as individuals we've found ourselves in different places over the last few years and so we've decided it’s time to take a break and lay low for a bit. This isn’t the end of the band, but we are looking forward to giving ourselves some space, focusing on our families, and giving back to the community which fostered and carried us."

As a gift to fans, to tide us over until they get back on the tools the band have release on new single, Kamikaze, as well as announcing an until now show at The Fortitude Music Hall in September. Tickets on sale this Friday from 10 am.
