Sir Archer Returned With Captivating Single 'Heed The Call'

Eora/Sydney-based band Sir Archer have returned with their sonorous single 'Heed The Call' – produced by the band themselves and Jackson Barclay (Winterbourne, Vera Blue, WANDERERS).

'Heed The Call' unfurls with velvety vocals, dulcet keys and gentle percussion that strikes an alluring delicacy of musical tension. Sultry bass lines and reverberant guitars ebb and flow, before a sonic crescendo soars into a subtle yet powerful finale.

Sir Archer talk about the inspiration behind 'Heed The Call':

"'Heed The Call' was inspired by an interaction we had with a stranger late one night who, in a moment of vulnerability, told us about the recent loss of his father. This moment formed the realisation that life happens quickly and time is fleeting. This song is our statement to listen to those around you. Through experiences, we grow and sometimes we wish we could teach our younger selves or even send a message of hope that time heals."

To celebrate the release, the band have announced their largest tour yet and will traverse the East Coast with an array of live shows. Sir Archer have also previously headlined capacity-rooms at venues such as The Lansdowne Hotel, Waywards, Mary's Underground and performed at Tamworth Country Music Festival

Taking cues from luminaries such as Holy Holy, Foals and Parcels, the band shares that their songs are "often made without knowing what is on the other side and letting inspiration guide the process."
